Global Concern is an Indonesia development consulting firm offering consulting services and technical assistance to local and international clients to identify their highest-value opportunities and address their most critical challenges. Established in 2012, Global Concern’s team consists of dedicated and qualified both local and international specialists and consultants with a broad diversity of educational and professional backgrounds. We have delivered development consulting projects in Indonesia since 2012, applying methodology of simultaneous holistic approaches to analyzing and solving development issues.
.Coming from different backgrounds, we are bound by the same vision – improving basic services provision in Indonesia. This vision is built from scores of experiences working across Indonesia in the areas of poverty alleviation, institutional capacity building and development, data analysis, performance monitoring and evaluation, public policy development, local government financial management, mapping out, pro-poor planning and budgeting and disaster response.
.The provision of basic services in Indonesia is still facing some challenges. These include the lack of stakeholders’ perspective on the real issues that occur in their surrounding, inappropriate data and mechanism of distribution, the implementation of program that has not yet reached the root causes of the problem, as well as the ineffectiveness of monitoring and evaluation to improve program implementation.
.We, however, believe that solutions for every challenge are obtainable. Our experiences working with national and international clients – and government and non-governmental beneficiaries – have shown us that the issue of basic services provision can be substantially solved through sustainable collaboration and cooperation among stakeholders.
